Both had the same problem when travelling: towels that were too big, too heavy and took forever to dry. The first prototype was made from curtain fabric and paper strips. The concept: a towel that dries fast, is lightweight and still looks great.\n\n<strong>Material and Function<\/strong>\n\nSince 2021, all Dock &amp; Bay towels are made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic. The microfibre material dries three times faster than cotton, is sand-resistant, odour-resistant and packs down small.\n\n<strong>Investment from Dragons' Den<\/strong>\n\nIn 2017, Jefferies and Muller presented Dock &amp; Bay on the British TV show Dragons' Den. Deborah Meaden invested \u00a375,000. It was a validation: the product works, the market is there.\n\n<strong>Colours, Patterns, Style<\/strong>\n\nThe range includes beach towels, quick-dry towels, swim shorts and travel accessories in a wide colour palette.
