Boyhood is a Danish design brand from Aarhus, founded in 2016 by Jakob Burgső. Before starting Boyhood, Burgső was a freelance graphic designer. The idea was simple: to create wooden figures that are not just decoration, but carry memories and develop their own character over time.

Every Boyhood figure is crafted from premium oak — solid and hand-finished. The wood is complemented by natural leather. The choice of materials is deliberate: no compromises on quality, no mass production. Each piece shows the character of the wood.

Danish Tradition, Personal Signature

Burgső’s references are the great names of Danish design: Mogensen, Wegner, Kay Bojesen, Arne Jacobsen. These are complemented by collaborations with partners such as Angry Birds, Peanuts and Playmobil. The result is figures that stand between collector’s item, gift and home object.
