The Story of a Clear Vision
LEFF Amsterdam was founded in 2011 by brothers Arno and Dennis Ruijzenaars together with designer Erwin Termaat in Amsterdam. Their starting point: ‘Life is too beautiful for dull design and boring basics.’ LEFF began with wall clocks and has grown into a label for clocks and home accessories that are recognisable at a glance.
Dutch Design in its Built Form
In the tradition of Dutch design, the concept comes first at LEFF Amsterdam. Material choices and form follow a clear idea, not the current trend. The Brick, Tone and Felt collections are considered contemporary classics.
Piet Hein Eek and the Tube Series
In 2015, LEFF Amsterdam collaborated with renowned Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek. The Tube Series — wristwatches with a tubular case in steel and copper — attracted worldwide attention and shows how LEFF carries its design ambition through equal partnerships.
Clocks as Design Objects
Today’s range includes wall clocks, table clocks, alarm clocks and wristwatches. All products share the same material language: steel, copper, clean forms. LEFF Amsterdam is available in over forty countries and represented in numerous design boutiques and museums.
