Oakywood
Oakywood
Woodcraft from the Tatra Mountains
Oakywood is a Polish design brand, founded in 2017 in Ciche, a small village in the Tatra foothills near Krakow. Founder Mateusz Haberny is the son of a carpenter, studied computer science and brought both together: woodcraft and the Apple ecosystem. The first idea was a wooden stand for the MacBook. Today, Oakywood is an internationally known brand for sustainable office and tech accessories.
American Black Walnut and Polish Oak
Oakywood works exclusively with certified woods: American Black Walnut in the highest quality grade (FAS/1F) and FSC-certified Polish oak. No mass production, no compromise on craftsmanship. Every product shows the wood grain as part of the design.
Japandi Aesthetics meets Technology
The design philosophy is called Japandi: Japanese minimalism combined with Scandinavian clarity. The range includes laptop stands, monitor risers, docking stations, wireless chargers, desk pads and the modular OakyBlocks system for MagSafe. Featured multiple times in Design Milk, Hypebeast and the craftsmanship network Homo Faber.
From Ciche to the World
Oakywood is family-run and continues to produce at the original location in Ciche. The short supply chain is part of the sustainability commitment: locally produced, FSC-certified, designed for longevity.
Oakywood x One Horizon
